Cookie policy.
This policy explains how exPErtus uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read together with our privacy notice. It applies to the public website only. It does not cover the exPErtus product environment, which is governed by the Data Processing Agreement signed for each pilot or customer engagement.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to make it work, remember your preferences, or understand how the site is used. "Similar technologies" includes local storage, pixels, and session identifiers. In this policy we use "cookies" as shorthand for all of them.
2. Our general approach
We keep this website deliberately light. We do not set marketing cookies. We do not profile visitors across sites. We do not use advertising networks or retargeting pixels. Anything we do set is either strictly necessary for the site to work or based on your consent.
3. Cookies we use
The site currently sets only the cookies listed below. If that changes, we update this page and, where required under the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration | Consent required |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| session | Keeps the waitlist form functional (CSRF token, form state). | Strictly necessary · first-party | Session | No |
| cookie_pref | Remembers your cookie preferences if we introduce a consent banner. | Strictly necessary · first-party | 12 months | No |
4. What we do not use
- No third-party advertising cookies
- No cross-site tracking or retargeting pixels
- No social-media tracking scripts embedded in the site
- No fingerprinting
- No cookies that carry client facts or matter information
If and when we introduce privacy-friendly analytics (for example aggregated, EU-hosted measurement without cross-site identifiers), we will update the table above and, where required, ask for consent.
5. Third-party services
Web fonts are served from Google Fonts. Loading a font may cause your browser to send a request to Google's servers, which includes your IP address. Google states that Google Fonts does not set cookies on the end-user's device for this purpose. We keep this dependency under review and will self-host fonts if we conclude that is more appropriate for our audience.
Links on this site to external services (such as LinkedIn or an email provider) are not loaded until you click them. Those services run under their own cookie and privacy policies once you reach them.
6. How to control cookies
You can control cookies at any time through your browser:
- Delete existing cookies for this site
- Block cookies from this site or from all sites
- Receive a notification before a cookie is stored
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect basic functionality such as form submissions. For detailed instructions, see the help pages of your browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, or your mobile equivalent).
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our cookie use changes. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes are communicated through this page.
